What’s Hojo’s Shinra Manor Password in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (FF7 Safe Combination)

Finding the password for the door in Shinra Manor is relative simple, though some Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth players may have trouble entering it.

As they make their way through Chapter 11 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, players will eventually find themselves in Shinra Manor, where the party hopes to find information about the Temple of the Ancients. After passing through some rather frustrating box-throwing sections, they’ll eventually come to a locked door and will need to find a password in order to progress.

There are only two side quests in Chapter of 11 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, though more Nibel Region side quests become available in the next chapter.

Hojo helpfully reveals that the password is comprised of four two-digit numbers that can be found somewhere nearby. Thankfully, finding the Shinra Manor door code is actually relatively simple if one knows where to look, though some Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth players may find entering the code to be a little confusing due to there being eight digits but only four dials.

What’s the Shinra Manor Door Password in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth? (FF7 Rebirth Safe Combination)

The password for the locked door in Shinra Manor is 36 – 10 – 59 – 97. Players can find this out for themselves by moving a couple of the boxes on the left side of the room, as doing so will reveal the door code written on the wall. To enter the password, players will need to interact with the door and then rotate the right analog stick as if they were turning the dials on a safe. They can turn the stick clockwise or anti-clockwise here and will be able to switch dials using the D-Pad. It’s worth noting that the dials all go up to 99, so each one should be used to enter one two-digit part of the full password as shown in the image above.

What’s Behind the Door in Shinra Manor?

Those who played through the original release of Final Fantasy 7 may have noticed that the Shinra Manor door password is the same as the Shinra Mansion safe code from the 1997 classic. With this in mind, the fact that the Forgotten Specimen mini-boss on the other side of the door bears such a striking resemblance to the optional Lost Number mini-boss that players fought upon opening the safe should come as no surprise. Forgotten Specimen has no major weaknesses and will develop immunity to physical and magic attacks if players use them too much. This can be used to their advantage though, as forcing Forgotten Specimen to repeatedly switch its resistances will eventually pressure it.
