What are Emerald Slivers for in Disney Dreamlight Valley Explained

Are you interested in having a rainbow fox follow you around in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Then you’ll need to venture down the massive rabbit hole that is the colored potato quests, including fishing out a bunch of Emerald Bottles — this is what are Emerald Slivers for in Disney Dreamlight Valley, explained.

The Green Potato quest, Emerald Bottles, and the Emerald Sliver explained

Assuming you’ve obtained the Golden Potato by interacting with the vault door in Scrooge McDuck’s store, any of the rest become fair game. The Emerald Sliver is tied to the Green Potato, which you can read about how to get here.

In short, you have to fish sixteen Emerald Bottles from various locations around the valley. You’ll see them sticking out of the water. From there, you craft each bottle into the Emerald Slivers. By themselves, Emerald Slivers don’t do anything until you have all sixteen. But once you do, you get to craft the Jade Crystal in the secret room in the Vitalys Mine — assuming you’ve progressed Simba’s questline that far. Once you have the Jade Crystal, it’s one of the ingredients to craft the Green Potion. But to even do that you have to take the Green Seed after crafting the Jade Crystal and plant it in the Forgotten Lands until it sprouts into a Green Potato. Only then can you make the Green potion if you have an Empty Vial on hand. Tedious and time-consuming? You bet!

Later on, once you have all seven of the potions, you can craft a rainbow potion. That will be needed to unlock the rainbow fox. It’s a very time-consuming series of hidden, bizarre quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but that’s what Emerald Slivers are for.
