AJ and MJ Fahmi, co-founders of top-tier mobile games publisher Babil Games, have announced their departure from the company with a, “Profound sense of accomplishment and anticipation for the new horizons.”

AJ Fahmi took to LinkedIn to share the news saying, “Over the past II years, we have nurtured Babil Games from a fledgling startup to a leader in the mobile gaming industry in the MENA region. Our journey, especially since our strategic alliance with Stillfront Group in 2016, has been a testament to our unwavering entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to innovation,” he wrote.

Based in the MENA region with international operations and a main office in Jordan, the company has developed titles such as Strike of Nations, War Storm, Nida Harb 3 and many others after being acquired by Stillfront Group in late 2016.

This year’s big release for Babil was AI General, which reached the million download mark in a matter of months and looks set to follow the successful path of its forbears delivering high-quality F2P action with localized content and art.

“As we step aside, we are proud to leave Babil Games in the hands of an exceptional team, confident in their ability to steer the company toward a future filled with growth and success,” AJ Fahmi wrote. “This transition is not just a milestone for us but a new beginning for Babil Games, poised for continued excellence and market leadership.”
