How to increase your health in LEGO Fortnite

In LEGO Fortnite, you start off with a measly 3 hearts, which equates to 12 hitpoints. If you want to go up against more dangerous foes, you’ll need to increase your maximum health.

Increasing your max health in LEGO Fortnite

In LEGO Fortnite, your maximum health decides how much punishment you can take before you get sent back to your spawn point. If you want to last more than two seconds against the tougher monsters, then you’ll simply need to increase the threshold of agony your character is willing to handle. In other words, increase your maximum health.

There are a couple ways to do this — one permanent, and one temporary.

Using Charms in LEGO Fortnite

The best way to increase your maximum health in LEGO Fortnite is by using charms. Charms are pieces of equipment that increase your stats in some way, and as you unlock more, they’ll get better and better. You can see in their item description that they’ll add to your maximum health alongside providing some other benefit most of the time.

You can wear up to three Charms at the same time, their benefits stacking with each other. You can even wear the same type of charm two or three times, if you like it that much.

You can craft these from the Crafting Bench.

Eating Cooked Food in LEGO Fortnite

Another way to increase your maximum health in LEGO Fortnite is by consuming certain food items. Cooked food is incredibly powerful in the game, and they will provide different stats per type. Each food type is different, but some, alongside healing and providing hunger, will assign you temporary health points.

These temporary health points will be added on if you’re at full health and will last until you suffer damage. When they get removed due to damage taken, then they won’t regenerate. You can eat the same food item to bring them back, however. The amount of temporary health points the food type will provide is the maximum it’ll give you, no matter how many you eat.

You’ll know when a food item provides temporary health points, as the hearts it displays in its description are pinkish-red.

I would recommend sporting both cooked food items that provide temporary health, and all the best charms you can get to really beef up your character in LEGO Fortnite. You’ll be unstoppable.
