Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be coming in February next year, and revealed a host of new details on the highly anticipated sequel as well, talking about the game’s Summons, its playable Sephiroth section, its “vast and expansive” world map, its new Synergy combat moves, how much content it will have on offer, and more.

Additionally, the company has also revealed the game’s Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. While the Standard Edition of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will retail for $69.99, its Deluxe Edition will be priced at $99.99, and in addition to the base game itself, it will also include an art book, a mini soundtrack, and a steelbook case.

Then there’s the Collector’s Edition, which will set you back an eye-watering $349.99, and can only be purchased on the Square Enix store. In addition to all the contents of the Deluxe Edition, the Collector’s Edition will also include a 19-inch statue of Sephiroth, whose wing will also be detachable. Also included are several pieces of in-game DLC, including two Summoning Materias, an accessory, and two pieces of armour.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launches for PS5 on February 29, 2024. Its PlayStation exclusivity period will end three months after launch.
