Explore the town most infected with the Darkness when Version 3.3 hits Tower of Fantasy

Level Infinite and Hotta Studio have released a few details for the upcoming 3.3 update for the MMORPG Tower of Fantasy. A Sword Dance of Ice will take players to Marshville, a once-vibrant now devastated town that hosts two massive Black Jade Ruins. So, guess where you are going?

Any adventurer worth their salt can’t see some ruins without going “I should poke that”, so our Wanderer will soon be headed to Marshville. Once a beautiful and serene location, Marshville has been hit by the worst Darkness invasion yet, causing it to become a wintry tundra. Still pretty, but much more of a harsh environment.

Inside Marshville is the eponymous Mansion which plays host to the Baihu Guards and other official institutions, who all bear a great weight on their shoulders due to the now-treacherous environment. Elsewhere in the city is the Transway Terminal which transports people and resources, as well as The Department of Yuheng, which has moved more and more to the forefront of dealing with the Darkness.

You will be tasked with exploring this new location through the Frost-Covered Marshville storyline. With the town under constant assault by the Darkness, many have given up hope. It will be down to you to help break this lingering curse and help the authorities repair the Infinite Sundial, a mysterious implement that is key to restoring Marshville.

3.3 will also play host to a new boss, Xingtian, a well-known, high-ranking Darkness. Many people gave their lives in the past in order to confine this fearsome foe to his cage, and what better way to honour their ultimate sacrifice than by ripping those doors open to give him a good kick in the teeth?

Tower of Fantasy can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play, with Version 3.3 set to launch on October 24th.
