Of the many megaton releases lined up for the first few months of 2024, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one in particular that has been generated a great deal of excitement, and Capcom recently streamed a meaty chunk of new gameplay footage for the upcoming open world action RPG.
Showcasing over 15 minutes of new footage, the stream’s first section showed off the human capital city in the kingdom of Vermund, offering glimpses of its architecture, environments, NPC density, and more, before moving in the next section out into the game’s seamless open world, where, as you might image, the focus switches primarily to combat. From pawns to unlocking skills to a miniboss fight against a towering monster, plenty is showcased in the stream. You can check it out below.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will launch on March 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will be Capcom’s first $70 game. Check out the game’s PC requirements through here.
