Millions of Fortnite players are looking forward to the return of the OG map. The Chapter 1 map was active for a bit more than two years, ending in October 2019. However, Epic Games brought it back for a month in November 2023, and this turned out to be a great move. Due to this, the game developer decided to bring the OG map back once again, and this may happen in the next season.
We already know the release date of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 and that Epic intends to bring the OG map back sometime in 2024. Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell when exactly this popular map will return. Is the OG map coming back in the next Fortnite season?
While it’s certain that Epic Games will bring the OG map back this year, no one knows when exactly it will happen. With the next Fortnite Battle Royale season scheduled for May 24, we might get a pleasant surprise. Chapter 5 Season 3 will almost certainly bring massive changes to Fortnite, and one of them might be the OG map.
Unfortunately, Epic hasn’t revealed anything regarding the return of the OG map next season. There have been a lot of rumors about this, and several videos have gone viral on social media. However, no legitimate Fortnite leaker has posted anything about this, and without Epic’s confirmation, we don’t think that the map will return soon.
We’re certainly hoping to get another chance to play the OG map in Fortnite. However, the game developer may bring it back in late 2024. After all, Epic released the OG Season in November 2024, and it lasted for only a month. This time, the map will have a different twist, but it won’t be surprising if the development team brings it back at the end of Chapter 5.
Some players are worried that Fortnite will remove the Zero Build mode with the new season as well. However, this is another rumor that is simply untrue.
