A new beloved board game from Japan is coming overseas. Not a localization of a popular TTRPG like Bouken, or a translated licensed work like the Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne TTRPG. It is an official English-language of the Ito card game, courtesy of publisher Arcane Wonders.

According to an official press release, the Ito card game is a wildly popular, easy-to-learn cooperative card game. It is designed by Mitsuru Nakamura and has gained over 300,000 fans in its native region.
In Ito, each player is given a secret number. This number can be between 1 and 100. From here, players need to work together to put their secret numbers in order on the board. Each player can provide clues to one another about what number is theirs based on several categories. They cannot directly tell their teammates their number.
The English localization of the Ito card game carries a mark of status. Not only is Arcane Wonders publishing the game for English-speaking territories, it will be distributed under their Dice Tower Essentials line. This is a curated line of board game whose titles include Onitama, Aquatica, and Smartphone Inc.
The Dice Tower Essentials line titles are handpicked by prolific board game reviewer Tom Vaesel, the same Tom Vaesel behind The Dice Tower podcast and designer of Vicious Fishes and the Nothing Personal series.

The English version of the Ito card game will retain all of the elements that made the original game great. In addition, it will add cards to randomize category selection. The game is set to make its English debut October 2024.
