When is the next Hearthstone expansion and all card sets

Next Hearthstone expansion release date 

The next Hearthstone expansion release date is March 19. Players will be able to get stuck into the latest set of cards from 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

If you have pre-purchased one of the expansion bundles then you can already use Corridor Sleeper in-game as an early access bonus. Colifero the Artist is also part of the set but has already been released in-game as a free log-in reward from Patch 28.6.

What is the next expansion in Hearthstone? 

The next expansion in Hearthstone is Whizbang’s Workshop. Celebrating 10 years of Hearthstone, expect to see some familiar faces and throwbacks to old mechanics.

All Hearthstone card sets 

There are now over 10 years’ worth of card sets in Hearthstone, with no signs of slowing down. Card set rotation was introduced to the game in 2016 to keep the game fresh and easier to pick up for new players. 

Set rotation is used in Standard format, where only cards from the previous two calendar years are eligible for deck building, in addition to the Core set. In contrast, the Wild format has no restrictions on which card sets can be used for deck building. 

There is also the Twist format, which replaced the Classic format in 2023. This mode has a regularly rotating format which includes curated card pools and special rulesets.
