Call of Duty: Warzone fans are calling for the Verdansk 84 Die Hard tower to be added back into the game. This comes alongside anticipation for the titular location making its return to the map in the next Call of Duty title.

Verdansk is the capital city of Kastovia and an incredibly popular location in recent Call of Duty games. It has appeared in several entries, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. What Verdansk is perhaps most known for, though, is serving as the original battleground for Call of Duty: Warzone. However, the modern-day version of Verdansk met its end after the Destruction of Verdansk event in Warzone and was replaced with a 1980s version of the city called Verdansk 84, which later added Nakatomi Plaza from the original Die Hard film as part of the 80s Action Heroes update.

A Reddit user by the name of Boof_Water posted a discussion thread to the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit explaining their wish for the Nakatomi Plaza to return along with Verdansk in the next Call of Duty game. Although the user acknowledges that a return is not likely, they still would love for it to happen. Many of the replies shared the same sentiment with fans talking about how much they enjoyed having it in the game.

Call of Duty players saw Verdansk go through quite a few changes over the years. However, it has not been part of Warzone since December 2021, when it was replaced by Caldera following the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1. So, the prospect of Verdansk making a return in the near future is exciting for many fans who have dealt with its absence for so long.

The addition of Nakatomi Plaza in Call of Duty was definitely a memorable one, as the franchise isn’t necessarily known for its inclusion of outside properties like other games such as Fortnite, which over the years has added a bunch of skins and emotes from across popular culture. Call of Duty is no stranger to this either, but incorporating a full-blown recreation of an iconic structure from one of the most popular action movies ever made was truly a sight to behold.

Whether Verdansk 84 and Nakatomi Plaza make a return in the next Call of Duty is yet to be seen. But either way, Verdansk alone making a comeback would certainly turn the heads of many.
