Judge Mary Kay Holthus was giving Deobra Redden, 30, his sentence when Redden’s attorney reportedly asked Holthus to give his client probation.

That wasn’t going to happen, said the judge, who instead offered the felon needed to “get a taste of something else.”

Then came the chaos. Redded leaped over the bench and attacked the judge before multiple people, including the bailiff, stepped in to subdue to crazed criminal who was screaming and fighting and even landed punches.

According to reports, the judge suffered a mild injury to her head but was generally OK.

Officials said Holthus was not hospitalized after the attack, which occurred about 11 a.m. at the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas.

The courtroom marshal was injured as he came to the judge’s aid and was hospitalized for treatment of a bleeding gash on his forehead and a dislocated shoulder, according to court officials and witnesses.

Redden reportedly has a laundry list of run-ins with the law and has had previous interactions with this particular judge.

He was previously in front of her to face destruction of property charges, and he also served a year in prison on a separate domestic battery charge.

Redden pled guilty in November to threatening to bust a man’s kneecaps in April, and causing “substantial bodily harm” … but Judge Holthus issued a bench warrant for his arrest in December after he missed a court appearance.
