Popular Kick streamer Adin Ross believes that Twitch may be planning to lift the content creator’s permanent ban in the near future.
Such was the case with Twitch streamer and YouTube prankster KanelJoseph, who recently brought his PC and other equipment to Office Depot. He set up his streaming gear on one of the desks in the store, and proceeded to go live to interact with thousands of his followers. However, Kanel’s stream was interrupted by an Office Depot employee, who threatened to have security remove him for filming inside the store. He tried to plead that he just wanted to be a “part-time streamer,” but his stream seemed to have been cut by the employee. It’s not clear if Kanel was pulling another viral YouTube prank like MrBeast, but many people seemed to think so and found the situation hilarious.

The Twitch clip of Kanel getting reprimanded by the Office Depot employee made rounds on social media, with many people criticizing him for using the store as his streaming room for clout. Meanwhile, many were also worried that Kanel was caught by security, but the streamer went live shortly after because he was eventually allowed him to stream. He also reassured fans on Twitter that “the employees were chill,” along with a photo of two employees who seemed fine about him streaming in Office Depot.
This isn’t the first time Kanel has gotten in trouble because of his antics, as he was previously attacked after trying to steal a man’s luggage for a video. The situation at Office Depot was definitely mild compared to what Kanel has gone through in the past, but it’s still no excuse for content creators to hassle other people for content, and it’s certainly not worth getting in trouble with the authorities. For instance, YouTuber JiDion was once arrested for allegedly committing a crime while filming a prank video.
The worst case scenarios are people getting hurt or killed because of pranks gone wrong, like a woman getting hospitalized because of the TikTok bucket prank. Pranks should be funny and harmless, especially for the recipients of the act.
