The Finals is famous for having amazing drip. There are lots of good and flashy outfits in the game for you to customize your Light, Medium, or Heavy combatant. Now, away from the in-game store, The Finals fans can get a free and rare Skill Issue skin but must act quickly because it is exclusive and very limited time only.
Embark Studios recently shared the full patch notes for update 2.2.0. This update finally delivered buffs and nerfs for two of the most controversial weapons in the game, but it also delivered an Easter extravaganza with bunny outfits to don.
A new update will be on the way shortly and the in-game store will receive a rotation, too. Freebies are always appreciated, and players can still grab two epic outfits and 12 skins for free in a single bundle. While this bundle doesn’t have an expiration date, The Finals fans must act very quickly to get the free and exclusive Skill Issue skin.
How to get The Finals Skill Issue skin for free
The Finals fans can only get the Skill Issue skin for free until April 16th. It is a skin that comes courtesy of a new official Discord Quest. Embark Studios also highlights it as the first, so it’s possible more could happen in the future.
In order to get the skin, you must join thefinals Discord channel. Once you have joined, or if you are already a member, you should receive an invite to participate in the update.
It is rolling out to players between now and April 16th, so you may not receive the quest immediately. To make sure you can receive the quest, you need to head into your privacy and safety settings and ensure ‘in-game rewards (aka Quests)’ is enabled. The Finals Discord message also says you can access the quest by going to your user settings and then your gift inventory.
Once you have access to the quest, you need to play The Finals and stream it to one person on Discord for at least 15 minutes. Unfortunately, there’s no way to stream onto Discord from PS5, so this skin is exclusive to people who are able to play on either PC or Xbox.
Remember that you only have until April 16th to get the Skill Issue set. Aside from a nice tank top outfit, it is also a set that makes ‘each elimination you achieve in the Arena a bit more memorable for the opposing team’.
