Tales of Tanorio Doopy Evolution
Baby capybara! This tiny creature furrows its eyebrows as it balances half of a coconut shell on its head. It uses 2 passive abilities, which are Fruitful Harvest and Oblivious. A lot of Tanorians only get 1, so this is pretty cool! Fruitful Harvest provides 2 DEF and ATK stacks for a total of 2 turns and Oblivious is well… a trait that makes them oblivious to stat alterations.
Doopy also has a Shiny variant, which gives its body a purple colour scheme. It also changes the coconut on its head to have a yellow shell instead with the coconut flesh turning into a shade of green.
How to Evolve Doopy
To evolve this little capybara into a larger capybara, you need to get Doopy to level 18! For tons of EXP, I recommend battling against other trainers, coming across random encounters across the routes, and using Doopy in Stadium battles. If you want to speed up the battles, it’s best to search for Tanorians that are weak to the Grass Type.

Doopy Evolution: Doopybara
Ah yes, the Doopybara. This creature retains its original green colour scheme, but it’s now much larger than its counterpart. It’s basically a fully grown capybara at this point, with even more coconuts. The empty shell of half a coconut has now become a fully-fledged hat, as the Doopybara holds a stack of 3 coconuts in each hand.
Both the Doopy and Doopybara are solely Grass Type Tanorians, with no other Types added at its evolution. Some evolved Tanorians gain an extra Type, turning them into a hybrid, but unfortunately Doopybara does not!
