Street Fighter 6 Spy × Family Crossover Released and It’s the Stuff of Nightmares

Capcom has finally released and detailed the collaboration with the Spy × Family Code: White movie in Street Fighter 6.

Unfortunately, it really has nothing to do with the beautiful anime trailer by WIT Studio, which worked on the Spy × Family anime, that we saw a few weeks ago.

The collaboration, which was teased all the way back at Anime Expo in July, revolves mostly around avatar costumes, and it’s pretty much the stuff of nightmares.

Besides the collaboration costumes for Yor Forger and Lloyd Forger available in the Battle Hub, the hairstyles for both characters are also included in the avatar creation.

The avatar recipes for them are SPY_SF6_YOR and SPY_SF6_LOID, and when you see what they look like, you’ll likely understand what I mean by “stuff of nightmares.”

On top of that, all players who log into the game during the collaboration period will receive photo frames, stamps, and titles.

The battle hub will also be decorated for the occasion until the event ends on January 31, 2024.

You can check out a trailer below, alongside some screenshots from the press release.

Street Fighter 6 is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Capcom has recently revealed as part of its financial results that the game has shipped over 2.47 million units as of September 30.

If you’d like to know why Street Fighter 6 is so popular among both veteran fans and novices, you can check out our review of the game, in which our Robert Scarpinito awarded it with an enthusiastic 9 out of 10.

Capcom recently released the third outfit for all launch characters. DLC characters include the brand-new fighter A.K.I. and the returning veteran Rashid.

The first character pass will bring two more fighters, Ed and Akuma, respectively slated for this Winter and Spring 2024.
