Here’s What Arthur Morgan Could Look Like in a Red Dead Redemption 2 Undead Nightmare DLC

A creative modder comes up with a horror-inspired look for Red Dead Redemption 2 protagonist Arthur Morgan, fitting for an Undead Nightmare DLC.

After adding a black Chevrolet Impala into the single-player mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, Reddit user TheBackou uploading a clip that showcased the vehicle during the day in Blackwater. The clip demonstrates the car’s driving mechanics, with Arthur Morgan acting as the driver. According to the player, the mod is a work in progress, with the car’s audio being noticeably absent. TheBackou can only achieve so much with the car, claiming that the lack of YFT support (the type of 3D file used for the vehicles in Grand Theft Auto 5) will affect the proper weight of the asset. As a result, the car is either too bouncy or too heavy.

The Chevrolet Impala is an update to TheBackou’s previous work on the car from another video. Further inspecting TheBackou’s other work will allow players to see several other mods they designed for Red Dead Redemption 2. Some of their previous posts feature Arthur Morgan as John Wick, the Silverballer handgun from the World of Assassination trilogy in the Hitman series, and an M16.

It is surprising to see a vehicle from the 1960s appear in Red Dead Redemption 2, given the game’s Wild West setting placing it at the turn of the 19th century. While TheBackou’s mod is limited by the technology of the game, the video is an exciting update for the Chevrolet Impala mod that shows how far it has come. In the comments, TheBackou claims that vehicle work, including blinkers and audio, is being developed. Until then, only time will tell what additions are made to the black Chevrolet Impala mod.
