Twitter integration on PlayStation consoles will be coming to an end soon. As spotted by Wario64, support for Twitter (now known as X) on PS5 and PS4 consoles is ending next week, starting November 13, as confirmed via an update regarding the same that users are seeing on their consoles.

That means users will no longer be able to post screenshots, clips, and Trophies to their Twitter accounts directly from PlayStation consoles, while you also won’t be able to view Twitter content on your consoles. If you do want to share your PlayStation content on the social media platform, you’ll have to do so by downloading said content to your phone through the PlayStation app, and then posting directly on Twitter.

Sony hasn’t mentioned any reasons for these changes, but PlayStation consoles aren’t the only ones that have dropped support for Twitter, with Xbox consoles having done the same earlier in the year. That means, starting next week, the Switch will be the only gaming console to have Twitter integration. The question is, for how long?
