After weeks without a patch, developer Pocketpair has released a new update for Palworld. This patch is now available to download on Steam and will be released on Xbox when ready. While the patch is largely fantastic, the unfortunate news is that Palworld update 0.1.5.0 adds two new issues that need fixing according to developer Pocketpair.

You can find the full patch notes for update 0.1.5.0 online. It doesn’t offer any new content teased in the roadmap, but the developer has reassured fans that new content is in the works while patches delivering bug fixes are being released.

While the yearning for new content is understandable, it makes complete sense that the developer is prioritizing bug fixes first. Another new update will be out eventually, and it should fix issues added to the game in update 0.1.5.0.

Palworld update 0.1.5.0 adds new issues to the game

Developer Pocketpair says there are new known issues in Palworld following the release of update 0.1.5.0. They’re not game-breakers, but they are issues that will be resolved.

Per the Palworld_EN Twitter account, one of the issues involves Pals created through breeding retaining their passives. Pocketpair says they will ‘roll back this change as soon as possible’. The other known issue is that the ‘implementation of [Relax] work mode on the monitoring stand’ has resulted in the default ‘work speed of Pals at the base is slow’. This is a minor inconvenience that simply requires you to change the work mode at the monitoring stand, but it’s something to be aware of.

In addition to the above-known issues, Pocketpair says they are working on a fix for another issue ‘where auto-save fails on the Xbox and Xbox Game Pass versions’ of the game. This will be resolved in an upcoming update, and the developer will continually work towards cracking down on cheaters.

The known issues added through update 0.1.5.0 aren’t game-breakers, but at least they will be fixed and at least you know about them. This should prevent you from wasting time unaware your pals are working slowly in your base, and you also know about pals retaining their passives through breeding.

In other Palworld news, a fan has found a secret unused dungeon that you can build a base inside. There is an ongoing competition for fans to win a custom Palworld Xbox console and controller, and the game has destroyed another massive milestone.

Palworld is available on Steam, along with Xbox and PC via Xbox Game Pass.
