MW3 is kicking off the festive season with a four-day free access weekend

Have you been itching to try out Activision’s latest shoot ’em up but don’t want to spend on its premium price tag? Well, you can soon because MW3 is kicking off the festive season with a four-day free access weekend, complete with all the bells and whistles the series is known for. During this time, you’ll be able to try out several different maps, modes, and playlists, including the revamped Rust and Terminal, the always-exciting Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed, and, of course, Zombies.

When is the MW3 free access weekend start date and time?

The next MW3 free access weekend will start on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT. The event will also be accessible on all platforms, including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, so you won’t have to worry about missing out on the action. Keep in mind, though, that joining in will require you to take on the game’s hefty file size, so we’d recommend freeing up space beforehand.

When does the MW3 free access weekend end?

The MW3 free access weekend will end on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT. This means you’ll have four days to play through all of the maps and modes on offer throughout its duration, including the widely celebrated Zombies extraction mode. Of course, once the event ends and you haven’t had your fill of shoot ’em up action yet, you will need to head to your preferred gaming platform’s respective store to purchase the full game.
