Is the Opening Night Pass Premium Reward Track Included in the Fortnite Crew?

Fortnite already had three game modes: Save the World, Battle Royale, and Creative. Chapter 5 Season 1 introduced fans to three additional games within Fortnite: LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. The latter has its own Battle Pass-like system, which allows players to unlock tons of cosmetic items that they can then use in the other game modes.

The Opening Night Pass works just like the mini-Battle Pass that Epic Games released during the 2023 Star Wars event. Players must earn Festival Points by playing Fortnite Festival and completing quests, and this currency can then be spent on rewards from either the Standard Reward Track or the Premium Reward Track.

Players can get access to the Standard Reward Track of the Opening Night Pass for free. However, if they’d like to get access to more items, they’ll have to purchase the Fortnite Festival Premium Reward Track for 1,800 V-Bucks, which costs about $16.

Fortnite Festival pass cosmetics are not exclusive to this game mode and might become available in the Item Shop at a later date.

Gamers can progress through the Standard Reward Track and then upgrade to the Premium Track at any time; the rewards that they worked towards will automatically unlock if they decide to purchase it eventually. The Opening Night Pass is available until February 22, 2024, at 10 PM ET.

Does Fortnite Crew Include the Opening Night Pass?

The Opening Night Pass will be available while Fortnite Festival Season 1 is live – this is the game mode’s debut premium pass. Many players purchase the Fortnite Crew Pack in order to get the Battle Royale Battle Pass for free, as it is one of its various perks. Other perks include the Rocket League Rocket Pass, 1,000 monthly V-Bucks, and free cosmetic items and legacy sets.

Since Fortnite Crew already grants subscribers two free passes, many players in the community were hopeful that they would get free access to the Fortnite Festival pass. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The Opening Night Pass Premium Reward Track is not part of the Fortnite Crew; members will have to pay full price if they’d like to get access to its Premium Reward Track.
