Monster Hunter Now is the latest entry in the MH franchise! However, this one is a little different when compared to the rest. Niantic, the company that developed Pokémon GO is behind this brand-new project. It’s basically IRL Monster Hunter – what’s not to love? Up your touching grass sessions by hunting monsters using augmented technology and collect a variety of powerful weapons to help you along the way. Players can also unite with friends in battles against the more powerful foes in this ever-evolving game.

So where is everything?
What Has Happened?
In simple terms, Niantic has delayed the release of the rewards following the game’s launch. Usually with pre-registration rewards, you get showered in spoils upon opening the game for the first time, not this time! The delay on the rewards was announced through the Monster Hunter Now Twitter page, where the planned rewards due to be given between September 14th – November 12th is no longer happening.
Now, we can expect the rewards to be distributed later in September alongside an upcoming update to the game. The date isn’t set, but your rewards are on their way so don’t worry! The Twitter page has all the updates to keep you in the know on all changes happening.
What About The Rewards?
The rewards are the same, though the way they will be distributed amongst pre-reg players is different. Originally all rewards were claimed through the in-game shop, with the exception of the Face Paint and Founder Medal, which were due to arrive two weeks after the games launch.
Now we know all items are planned to arrive at the same time. Niantic hasn’t made anything clear yet, but from gathering scraps of knowledge we can presume everything will still arrive at the in-game shop.
How Do I Know I’ll Get My Rewards?
So long as you logged into Monster Hunter Now within the first seven days of launch, you will get your pre-reg rewards. Of course, this is as soon as Niantic is ready to release them. This also includes players who didn’t sign up for the games pre-registration.
