Lunala Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Here’s where to find Lunala in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s second expansion, The Indigo Disk.

Lunala is a Legendary Moone Pokemon that was introduced as the box art monster for Pokemon Moon back on the 3DS. This Pokemon can be caught in the wild in The Indigo Disk DLC, but you’ll need to clear the storyline first and roll the credits. Once you do so, a man named Snacksworth will appear near the entrance of Blueberry Academy. Complete BBQs, and he’ll give you treats for Legendary Pokemon encounters.

To get the Lunala Treat from Snacksworth, you’ll need to keep turning in Solo Quests (if you’re playing Pokemon Violet). If you have Pokemon Scarlet, you’ll need to play online with other people and complete Group Quests.

Lunala Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Once you acquire the Lunala Treat, you can finally find the legendary bat in the Paldea region. Lunala can be found smack dab between the Casseroya Lake area in the northwest and West Province (Area Two).

The best way to reach Lunala is to fast travel to the Porto Marinada Lighthouse outside Asado Desert and then travel north until you see a small waterfall by the ocean. There will be a large tree near the waterfall. Check out the second tree behind the first one to find Lunala waiting for a Pokemon battle.

Make sure to save your game in front of Lunala before interacting with it. If you accidentally defeat it in battle, you can restart your game to encounter it again.

Lunala’s Moves and Weaknesses

Lunala is a Psychic/Ghost-type Legendary Pokemon, making it weak to Ghost and Dark-type attacks. It’s also resistant to Psychic and Poison moves and is immune to Fighting and Normal-type attacks. Down below, we have a table that lists Lunala’s moveset. Of course, you’ll be able to switch out its moves freely in the menu.
