The latest entry in the newly renamed Yakuza saga is almost upon us, with many fans wondering when is the Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth release date? Now it’s almost here, we’ll answer a bunch of questions about the upcoming action RPG, which will see the return of hero Ichiban Kasuga and long-time series protagonist, Kazumura Kiyru.
While ostensibly, this is mainline game number 8 for the series, it’s the 9th in the in the overarching continuity (counting Yakuza 0) – with even more games if you count all the spin-offs and side games, such as the Judgement series. However, it follows on most immediately from 2020’s Yakuza 7 Like A Dragon, as well last year’s side story Like A Dragon Gaiden – The Man Who Erased His Name. Notably, it’ll be retaining the new turn based RPG action introduced in Yakuza 7, but will move the action from the series’ long-time home of Japan to see the gang take a trip to Hawaii, while still including an epic story as well as a whole smorgasbord of fun activities and minigames on the side too.

Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth release date
Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth is scheduled to release on January 26, 2024. At the time of writing, there won’t be any early access, whether that be through pre orders or special editions, so everyone will be playing around the same time.

Is there a Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth demo?
The good news is that there is a Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth demo. The bad news is, at the time of writing, it’s not available for anyone to just download. Rather, the demo is included with the previous spin-off game, 2023’s Like a Dragon Gaiden The Man Who Erased His Name.
To access the demo, you’ll have to complete Like A Dragon the Man Who Erased His Name to its credits. You can then play a 15 minute game trial of Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth with a scenario exclusive to the demo. Progress from the demo will not carry across to the full game, so don’t worry too much if you don’t feel like playing the Special Trial version.
