Re: Can’t ‘give up the fight’; Trudeau insists he isn’t going anywhere, March 19
Article content
Justin Trudeau has stated that each and every day he thinks about leaving his “crazy job.” Want to know why? Because he realizes that he is toast in the next election.
Pierre Poilievre has been virtually flawless during his tenure as Official Opposition leader and the country has had it with the Liberal government’s far-left and woke policies. Believe me, if Erin O’Toole were still at the helm for the Conservatives, or Andrew Scheer, Trudeau would have possibly already called an election.
Trudeau would like nothing better than to be victorious for a fourth straight time. However, he knows the writing is on the wall, and to lose to Poilievre would be the ultimate ego-crusher. Expect a Liberal leadership convention either this fall or early next year.

DANGEROUS WALK ON ROBERTSON
Come one, come all! The Bells Corners race track is open. Come as often as you like. It’s even more fun when you can make pedestrians jump out of the way as you run through yellow and red lights. And no speed limits!
I just got home from walking my dog, and six or seven people ran red lights on Robertson Road, and I had to stop twice in the pedestrian crosswalk, fearing for my safety. One driver stopped, and the other thought I was ceding right of way and roared through the light.
Police? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

SENS TONGUE TWISTER
I had a fun thought while watching the Ottawa Senators play on the weekend. They recently acquired forward Boris Katchouk off waivers and elevated forward Zack Ostapchuk from Belleville. If coach Jacques Martin put them on a line with the captain, we’d have Ostapchuk, Tkachuk and Katchouk.
I would love to hear how the announcers would handle a quick three-way passing play. Say that fast. My guess is that they would go to first names. Just musing.
