COPS FAIL — AGAIN

A reception for Giorgia Meloni, Italy’s prime minister, and Justin Trudeau was cancelled because pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel protesters blocked entrances to the Art Gallery of Ontario.

It was Trudeau’s decision to allow extremist, antisemitic thugs into Canada; seems only fitting that he should be personally affected and embarrassed by their behaviour. Where were the police when it was happening? Too bad they failed to do their job — once again!

Lack of law enforcement has emboldened them to become increasingly brazen. Ignoring small, easily solved problems until they become problems of momentous proportions seems to be a foolish policy to follow. Police leaders who promote this kind of response should be fired.

Canadians are sick and tired of these lax non-responses that are endangering all of us, especially the innocent Jewish population. I generally support police services, but this time definitely not.

CARBON SLICE DOESN’T CUT IT

Re: Another day, another fee; Toronto pizza joint dishes up ‘carbon’ charge, March 3

This is a gutsy move by this restaurant to overtly add this tax to their customers’ tabs. I suppose they could have hidden it by just raising some of their prices. That being said, we are already paying the idiotic carbon tax, which raises the price of almost everything we use.

Personally, I would never return to any venue that has taken it upon itself to gouge its customers even more. But that’s just me.

NOT URGENT?

Well, this is certainly concerning. After defying numerous orders to provide documents pertaining to the Beijing-affiliated scientists at the Level 4 lab in Winnipeg, resorting even to taking the speaker of the House of Commons to court, the Liberals have finally relented.

Unfortunately, after spending three years of blocking due process, it only took about three minutes for the Liberals and NDP to shut down any further examination of the serious security breach.

According to Liberal MP Iqra Khalid, this situation “is not urgent.” So, in Liberal-land, is anything other than plummeting poll numbers actually “urgent”?
