Kingdom: The Blood blows past one million pre-registrations within the month ahead of March 5th release

Back on February 5th, YJM Games announced to the world that pre-orders had opened for their upcoming action RPG Kingdom: The Blood, based on the hit Netflix series. That was just under a month ago, and the response has been crazy, with over one million people signing up.

YJM Games has described Kingdom: The Blood as an action RPG that has taken the soulslike concept, and taken it to the Joseon Dynasty. Players will be contesting with zombies flying in from all directions in fast-paced combat, where the best course of action may be to flee. It’s an interesting-sounding game, but even so, the numbers are a little surprising.

What makes that even more impressive, and a pretty positive indication of the gameplay, is that five hundred thousand of these came in the last week, which roughly lines up with when the mobile playtest ended. This rapid uptick in resigstrations has of course caused the developers to take notice, and they are in a good mood.

So good, in fact, that they have decided to slap on a little bonus for hitting this milestone. All players who pre-register will be given in-game currency worth around $50.00, as well as an additional costume for reaching the mark. If you haven’t signed up already but have an interest in the game, it would be a smart move to do so.

You will need to act fast though, as the official release date is set to be March 5th. Until then though, the official Discord will be hosting a countdown event, which will be feeding us all manner of special content to keep that anticipation sky high. This includes more on the story, details on the conquest mode, commemorative coupons, and the release of digital goods.

Kingdom: The Blood will be available to download from the App Store and Google Play on March 5th.
