It is almost time to pull into port as Arena Breakout releases video of upcoming map

We are well on the road for Season 2 to hit Arena Breakout on October 27th, and to whet our appetites, Level Infinite has released a flyby of the areas for the new map. Battle for the Port will introduce a host of new guns, a new weather system, and the debut of the Port map.

One of the most obvious things about the Port is that it is a decidedly urban environment, giving you plenty of opportunities to be sniped at from the surrounding rooftops or side streets. Port Authority, Guoyapos Ave, Downtown and the Community areas will no doubt be deathtraps if you are staying street level.

The Abandoned Building, however, looks like it could provide quite a tactical challenge. With multiple levels, the audio tracker could prove unreliable, as you won’t know if they are above, below, or on the same floor as you. Navigating this, and not falling through the holes in the floor, could make it a fun area.

Lest we forget, exploring this new map is going to be made all the more difficult thanks to the new Storm Warning mode. When this phenomenon hits, rainstorms and foggy weather will cloud your vision and confuse audio pickup, making it all the more likely to stumble into a hoard of foes, or off the top of that building you are camping on. Serves you right.

As you fumble blindly down alleyways and shipyards, you might come across some of the new weapons up for grabs, all fully customizable as you would expect. The AN94, AEK and ACE31 are three new assault rifles for mid-range engagements, the DP12 shotgun will help you sweep those corridors, and the M3000 revolver will help you nail that Clint Eastwood impression.

Arena Breakout is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
