The Witch Hut’s Location

The Witch’s hideout, referred to as the Hut, is situated in the Railroad area. In the northeast corner of this biome, there is a small tunnel entrance obstructed by a greenish obelisk. This serves as the primary entrance to the Witch’s Hut, a vital location in the game for advancing two main story quests: Dark Talisman & Goblin Problem.

How to Get Into the Witch’s Hut

To unlock the Witch’s Hut, you must unlock its entrance with the Dark Talisman. Obtain the Talisman in the Sewers by engaging in a conversation with Krobus. Once inside the hut, you must also pay the gatekeeper, a Goblin Henchman, one Void Mayonnaise to gain access to the Witch’s basement.

Find the Dark Talisman

Upon finishing either the Community Center or Joja Community Development Form, head to the northeast corner of the Railroad area (top-right). This action will initiate the Magic Ink quest, assigned by the Wizard positioned at the entrance of the hut.

After initiating the quest, make your way to the Sewers and have a conversation with Krobus. They will guide you to the entrance of the Mutant Bug Lair, where the Dark Talisman is concealed. Navigate through the cave, encountering monsters along the way, and reach the opposite side to retrieve the Talisman.

Convince the Goblin to Let You In

Putting the Dark Talisman in the Hut’s gate will unlock it. Inside, you’ll come across a Goblin acting as a gatekeeper, preventing further progress. To handle the situation, offer him a Void Mayonnaise. If you’re unfamiliar with the crafting process, create Void Mayonnaise by placing a Void Egg into a Mayonnaise Machine.

If luck is on your side, there’s a chance you might fish out Void Mayonnaise from the waters in the Witch’s Swamp. Once you’ve conversed with the Goblin,

If it’s your first time entering the Witch’s Hut, you will find Wizard’s Magic Ink on the table—in the bottom left corner. Other than that, you will also find three gameplay-effecting Dark Shrines in the hut: Selfishness, Memories, and Night of Terrors.

Here’s what to know about these shrines:

  • The Dark Shrine of Selfishness: Activated with a Prismatic Shard, this tomb removes all your children.
  • The Dark Shrine of Memories: If you gift this holy item 30,000g, it will remove your memories from your ex’s mind.
  • The Dark Shrine of Night Terrors: After contributing a Strange Bun to this tomb, monsters spawn in your farm at night.
