How to Get Mounts in Tales of Tanorio
In any open-world game, it’s always a good idea to have a mount. Not only does it make travelling quicker, but they also look pretty darn cool as you do so. There’s already a great array of mounts to unlock in Tales of Tanorio, but how do you unlock them?
Firstly, you need to visit Nikido City. You unlock this area as you progress through the main missions! Once you beat the Nikido City gym and obtain the gym badge, you can start to unlock mounts.
Head to the building called Saddle Central which has a large Tanorian stone statue above the entrance – this building is located on the opposite side of Grubhog, and is opposite the large Golden Umbrella Fashion sign and the Vanocan Outlet.

Head into Saddle Central to browse the mounts! I do want to mention that the only way to purchase mounts in Tales of Tanorio so far is to use Robux. This is a little frustrating, as not everyone wants to pay Robux to boost their travel speed. Anyway, the available mounts are as follows:
- Ballisect
- Doopy
- Astaroid
- Vipress
- Dynastogun
- Guardemis
- Jespirit
- Ignidall
- Dandylion
- Pirrat
Now, from this list of names, you may recognise that they’re Tanorians. Yep, all mounts are based on obtainable Tanorians, and can even be Shiny. If you manage to capture a Shiny Tanorian, and it has a mount form, the mount will also be Shiny – which is a nice touch to the game! Furthermore, every mount has a charge move that can destroy obstacles that block your path.
Free Mount – Bjorkchomp
Yes, that’s right, you can get a free mount in Tales of Tanoria! If you don’t want to spend Robux on a purchasable mount, you don’t have to miss out. Every player unlocks the Bjorkchomp mount by progressing through the game. To obtain the free mount, you can collect it from the NPCs standing in the barn in Pontero Pasture.
