LEGO Fortnite: Where to find and mine Obsidian location
Obsidian is found in Desert caves. Desert caves are found in… you guessed it, the Desert biome. Before you go to a Desert biome, you’ll need a way to remove the Hot and Burning temperature effects.

Once you’re in a Desert cave, you’ll see lava. You’ll also see black rock. This is Obsidian. The only way to get Obsidian once you find it is to break it with a Rare Pickaxe which requires a Rare Crafting Bench, three Flexwood Rods, and three Sand Claws — those two resources are found in Deserts.
Once you find Obsidian, I recommend you go through the whole cave farming as much Obsidian as you can until your Pickaxe breaks. Obsidian is one of those resources you want to get a lot of in one run, so stock up so you don’t have to come back frequently.
