In Harvest Island, your dad will have you doing all sorts of work, from tending to the animals to farming the crops to building an entire pier. Your list of responsibilities never ends, and building this pier is hard work. To give you a break, I’ve got the entire process covered for you, so you can collect the materials in ease.
What you need to build the pier in Harvest Island
You will need five things to construct the pier in Harvest Island. Stone, Planks, Rope, Bless, and Stamina. All of the materials for this pier can be found by heading into either the west or south forest, but you’ll have an easier time heading west.
Collecting Planks is easy. Simply head into the forest and pick up the Logs that will be scattered around the floor. One Log can be cut into two Planks, so you’ll just have to find five of them. Outside of the Chicken Coop is an axe on a stump. That is the station that allows you to cut the Logs into Planks.
Stones aren’t as obvious to find. Keep heading west, and you’ll find a very obvious cave entrance. Stones will be scattered on the floor. There is another cave further west past the waterfall. You only need to pick up ten.
Finally, you’ll need some Rope. Rope can be crafted at the workbench in your bedroom, costing 2 Cotton and three Twigs. These items can be found scattered across the forest floor as well, so collect them alongside the logs.
If you can’t find all the stones, cotton, twigs, and logs in one run, then head to the south forest to collect some more, or take a nap and allow the items to respawn.
That’s it! Gather all the items, and then head to the east beach.

Building the pier in Harvest Island
Once all the materials are on hand, make sure you’ve got enough stamina and bless before you go to the beach. Along the coast, a little north from the beach entrance, will be a wooden sign.
Interact with the sign and you’ll have the option to build the pier! You may have to interact with the ‘build’ button twice.
With the pier built, you will have access to Ocean fish, so you should build a fishing pole next!
