The Helldivers 2 developers Arrowhead Game Studios have recently come under fire by the community for not addressing major problems with the game while still releasing new microtransaction content such as the recently added Democratic Detonation Premium Warbond. Although the developers have said that one doesn’t interfere with the other due to being created by different teams, players still want to see Arrowhead Game Studios put more focus on fixing the game and less on microtransactions. The current plan is to release one Warbond a month, which some have called a chore to have to try to unlock and complete.

U/ParmesanCheese92 has taken to Reddit to share their thoughts on the current situation and call for Arrowhead Game Studios to cut back on the amount of Premium Warbonds that are released saying,

“Honestly, one Warbond a month sounds like a chore for me as a player, I’m playing casually and still haven’t even finished the free Warbond. What’s the rush?

This is my own opinion but: Not having Warbonds is NOT going to stop me play the game. The game had major bugs that honestly show a rushed development (since there are still systems that need an overhaul) WILL make me stop playing the game.”

Some players did agree with this post, with u/TabledTopper saying “I would very much prefer waiting a bit longer for the war bonds, it doesn’t seem great to me to pump one out every month only for like 2 items in it to be worth using anyways.”

Other players didn’t agree, with u/LegionOfGrixis making a good point that the internet will soon move onto something new to complain about saying “Then 3 weeks from now people will be posting stuff about how this game is dry and there is no new content.”

Whichever side of the fence you’re on, it is hard to deny that Arrowhead Game Studios is delivering when it comes to Helldivers 2, with plenty of fresh content that is keeping hundreds of thousands of gamers coming back each day. The latest 01.000.203 update did fix many issues in the game and future updates will continue this trend. But for now, rather than focusing too much on what needs to be fixed, we need to be focused on the Automatons as they have returned to the game with a vengeance, bringing with them the returning Factory Strider.
