Genshin Impact Special Program is back, allowing fans to get a sneak peek at the much-awaited 4.1. update. As per usual, this latest update promises a range of exciting new content, including new playable characters, events, and the continuation of the epic journey of Traveler in Fontaine.
Genshin Impact version 4.1 continues the story with a new Archon Quest “To the Stars Shining in the Depths.” This chapter sees the arrival of the bona fide Fatui Harbinger native to Fontaine, Arlecchino, following the incarceration of Chile in the Fortress of Meropide. With this diplomatic incident, Hydro Archon Furina and Fontaine’s Iudex, Neuvillette seek the Traveler’s help, tasking them to disguise as criminals and infiltrate the Fontaine prison.
With the release of version 4.1, 5-star Hydro vision holder and Catalyst wielder, Neuvilette, and 5-star Cryo Catalyst, Wriothesley, will finally be playable. Neuvilette’s banner will run during the first phase of the update alongside Hu Tao, while Wriothesley’s banner, together with Venti, will be available in the second phase of version 4.1.
Genshin Impact 4.1 update also introduces a new area, the ruins of the old Fontaine Research Institute’s Central Laboratory, setting the stage for a new adventure. Players will explore this desolate area and uncover its fascinating hidden history.
Several exciting new events are also coming to Genshin Impact with version 4.1, including a Poetry Gala event hosted by Hu Tao and Venti. This event is divided into three phases: Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites, Inspiration Eruption, and Mending Painting Prospects. In Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites, players must hit as many holding pots as possible under a time limit. Inspiration Eruption challenges players to defeat the Mythic Nexus obstructing inspiration within a time limit, while the Mending Painting Prospects requires players to take pictures and search for missing objects.
In another event, called “Dodoco’s Bomb-Tastic Adventure, players will join Klee and play around with Jumpty Dumpties. Players will use Dodoco to throw different types of Jumpy Dumpties to defeat the army of invading Spikey fish.
Genshin Impact version 4.1 is expected to be released on September 27th and will coincide with the game’s Anniversary celebration. This means fans can look forward to exciting bonuses, including a new check-in event that will grant them free Primogems, Fragile Resin, and various other rewards.
