Fortnite has the biggest player count of any multiplayer battle royale and it also has one of the biggest followings in pop culture entertainment. Millions of players enjoy the game every day, and this massive player base includes celebrities who are part of the battlefield in their downtime. There are many celebrities who have admitted to playing in the past, and now another huge actor has admitted to recently discovering and becoming obsessed with Fortnite.

Epic Games’ battle royale is currently in the midst of Chapter 5 Season 1 and there’s plenty for fans to anticipate in the near future. Although a recent survey has fans worried about the possibility of Epic selling building pieces in-game, other leaks suggest that an ingenious open-world game mode away from LEGO is on the horizon. Not only that, but the expected release date for Chapter 5 Season 2 isn’t too far away.

We cannot wait to see what’s in store for the future. Whether it’s the traditional battle royale mode, LEGO, Rocket League racing, or music festival, you could be playing against anyone and that includes megastar celebrities.

Hollywood actor has become obsessed with Fortnite

Hollywood actor Josh Hutcherson has admitted to becoming obsessed with Fortnite. Appearing on the Happy Sad Confused podcast on January 15th, Hutcherson confessed that he is very late to the game in just discovering Epic Games’ battle royale.

When asked if he is all in on the game right now, Hutcherson replied with a guilty nod and admitted that he has yet to see massive movies such as Oppenheimer and Maestro possibly because of his addiction to the game. For those not in the know, Josh Hutcherson is an actor who has most notably starred in the Hunger Games trilogy as well as the childhood Disney classic, Bride To Terabithia. He also starred in the recent Five Nights At Freddy’s blockbuster movie.

Again, the beauty of multiplayer games is that you can literally be playing against anyone, and Hutcherson is by far not the only celebrity who enjoys the game. Some celebrities who have professed to playing Fortnite include rapper Drake, NFL footballer JuJu Smith-Schuster, footballer Neymar, and actor Finn Wolfhard. Even Roseanne Barr enjoys taking to the battlefield and gunning down kids screaming in their microphones.

In other Fortnite news, the community has told a player to ‘git gud’ after complaining about an OP weapon. Fans are also hoping this hugely popular skin will return but the odds seem unlikely.
