Fortnite Chapter 1 will return very soon, Epic Games just confirmed. The videogame developer has released several teasers regarding the first chapter, but no one knew if it was going to happen for sure. Fortunately, the company confirmed the return of Chapter 1 on Friday.

The first chapter of the popular videogame concluded in October 2019, and the original map was sucked into the black hole. However, it appears that the map either wasn’t destroyed or that we’ll go back in time to save it.

Besides confirming the return of Chapter 1, Epic Games also revealed a few more details about the next Fortnite season.

Fortnite Chapter 1 is coming back in early November

The Fortnite Season 5 release date is set for Friday, November 3. While there has been a lot of talk regarding Epic Games postponing the new season, the good news is that this won’t happen. The game developer confirmed this to be the release date, meaning that the new Fortnite season will come out in less than a week.

In addition to it, Epic also confirmed that some new features, like sprinting and mantling, will stay in the game. These movement features were added in Chapter 3, and it doesn’t seem that they will be removed anytime soon.

It will be interesting to see what Fortnite Chapter 1 will look like with these new movement mechanics. Additionally, Epic Games will likely keep Zero Build playlists as well. While this hasn’t been confirmed, Fortnite leakers claim that ziplines will be added on the island to help with movement.

With six days left until the return of Fortnite Chapter 1, we expect Epic to release more hints and details about the new season. So far, many leaks have turned out to be true. Unfortunately, Season 5 could also be the shortest Fortnite season of all time, as it will likely last for only a month.
