Well, we won’t be seeing Atelier Resleriana on Global servers for a while, but we can rest assured that it’s doing brilliantly in Japan. It’s currently in first place for mobile RPG downloads at the moment! Plus, revenue-wise, it’s absolutely smashing it.

We’re Still Waiting…
Could this mean a Global release soon? Perhaps, or at least I hope so. I suspect that they’re testing the waters out with how the game is received on JP servers first.
With the growing success of Atelier Resleriana right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get some news regarding a Global launch before the end of the year (or is that wishful thinking?).
The game itself received a bit of a backlash when it was first announced, mainly due to it being a gacha mainline game.
Fans of the Atelier series, like me, were probably hoping for a fully-fledged console release. It’s understandable why we were a little disappointed. However, maybe we were wrong to judge so soon!
Despite the Backlash, it’s Doing Pretty Well
Atelier Resleriana is being praised for its high-quality presentation. With gorgeous character models, glistening environments, and engaging gameplay, it’s set to be a star amongst fellow gacha titles.
Will it be for every Atelier fan? Probably not, but I can’t wait to try it out for myself.
I mean, if you’ve ever played an Atelier game, you’ll know that they’re well-known for immersive storylines, world-building, and likable characters.
