Beloved Raiden Shogun Coming Back To Genshin Impact’s Gacha Next Week

Today HoYoverse announced the date and the full details for the next Event Wish gachas coming to Genshin Impact.

This is the second round of Event Wishes coming to the game as part of the version 4.3 cycle, and while 4-star Pyro character Chevreuse is new, she’s likely overshadowed by one of the game’s most popular characters, Raiden Shogun.

The new gachas will appear on Tuesday, January 9 endangering wallets worldwide.

The Reign of Serenity Event Wish will include Raiden Shogun, Chevreuse, Sara, and Bennet.

The second character event Wish titled “Tapestry of the Golden Flames” features the same cast but replaces the Raiden Shogun with Yoimiya.

There’s also a third gacha for weapons, titled Epitome Invocation, including Thundering Pulse and Engulfing Lightning.

Genshin Impact Epitome Invocation Weapon Event Wish

This is the fourth time Raiden Shogun is offered in the game’s gachas, with her original launch in late 2021 followed by two more chances in 2022.

There were no chances to get her in 2023, so players who started playing only recently may want to consider trying their luck.

Of course, the new wave of Event Wishes means you only have a few days left to get this version’s new five-star character, Navia.

If you are torn between the first Geo characters in ages and saving your Primogems to roll for Raiden Shogun, I don’t envy you.

Genshin Impact is currently available for PS5, PS4, PC, iOS, and Android. As a free-to-play game, paying any money is not required, but there are plenty of opportunities to partake in optional microtransactions.

If you’re eager for something new and want to try out another HoYoverse game besides Genshin Impact and the similarly popular Honkai: Star RailZenless Zone Zero is coming for PC and mobile in early 2024.

It’s an action RPG and you can read our extensive interview from Gamescom 202 if you’d like to learn quite a few details about it. For now, we don’t yet precisely know when it’ll be released.
