Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to be the biggest video game of all time when it comes out. Its trailer alone has already smashed numerous records, and everyone is waiting impatiently for its release. Although the trailer is short, it shows off the two new protagonists and fans are already in love with the female playable character, Lucia. Fans are desperate to know who the GTA 6 Lucia voice actor is, and a Twitter account online claiming to be the voice actor is actually using an Instagram model lookalike’s cosplay.

Although the trailer is less than two minutes, it is still one of the biggest topics of the year let alone just December. Fans have watched the trailer over and over again, and they are amazed by the easily missable details such as the insanely realistic body physics of a woman running on the beach. In addition to plenty of glee, the trailer has also whipped up some controversy with the real-life Flordia Joker threatening legal action while fans are frustrated about the lack of a PC release for launch.

In addition to all of the above, the trailer has also created an army of Lucia simps. And now people are claiming to be the voice actor online.

The ‘real’ GTA 6 Lucia voice actor appears online

A Twitter account claiming to be the ‘real’ GTA 6 Lucia voice actor has quickly gathered nearly 10,000 followers. Their first post on December 17th is a video of the alleged actress walking into a store wearing the black tank top, jean shorts, and red bandana seen in the trailer. Two overly excited people in the store are then filmed saying ‘that’s her’ from the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer while also asking for free copies of the game.

The tweet reads, ‘Won’t say much, can’t wait to say more soon…’. Since then, the Twitter account has posted a few cryptic tweets pretending to tease things for the game. Some in the replies believe the hoax, but thankfully many are fully aware that this is not the actual voice actor. A simple and obvious reason is that NDA does not allow actors to identify themselves as characters before Rockstar reveals the cast.

Secondly, the video used is from Instagram model jaelanijade. This is where the Lucia cosplay video originates from with many in the replies saying she actually really looks like the character while others don’t see the resemblance. This video has also been spread on Grand Theft Auto 6 dedicated Twitter and Reddit forums with captions such as ‘Lucia seen in real life…‘. Whether you think the supposed lookalike resembles the character or not, the Twitter account in question is completely fake. It is not the Lucia voice actor nor does it have any inside information on the game.

Who is the GTA 6 Lucia voice actor?

Rockstar has not identified any of the game’s cast. However, fans have speculated the GTA 6 voice actors for Lucia as well as the male protagonist named Jason according to previous leaks.

The Lucia voice actor was previously rumored to be Alexandra C. Echavarri Lecároz, but she confirmed on Instagram that she is instead playing Warehouse Boss Lupe in GTA Online. It’s possible she could be playing the Grand Theft Auto 6 heroine, but she hasn’t confirmed anything. Another rumor was actress Leslie Luvlet. However, while Alexandra C. Echavarri Lecároz hasn’t responded to any of the rumors, Leslie Luvlet has explicitly denied she is Lucia in GTA 6.

Funnily enough, the actress and her Far Cry 6 character, Zenya, do actually resemble Lucia, but, again, she’s explicitly said online that she is not the leading lady. As for Jason, there really isn’t anything to go off of as in the trailer all he said was ‘trust’. Many fans swear he sounds like Troy Baker, but it’s one word so it’s impossible to tell.

In other GTA 6 news, the trailer recreated in Grand Theft Auto 5 really illustrates the massive leap in graphics. A former Rockstar dev also claims that all of the trailer’s scenes are done in-game.
