As a result, it’s important to know how to play in the Career, Universe, and Exhibition modes for fun. The basic rules of the Elimination Chamber are as follows:
- 6-Man Event
- Wins are determined by pinfall and submission.
- Two wrestlers start the match.
- The counter runs down before the next wrestler enters the cage.
- Wrestlers can be eliminated at any time in the match.
Unlike War Games, you don’t have to wait for all entrants to be in the Elimination Chamber at once to eliminate the other wrestlers.

Grabthe opponent with the Circle/B button, then long press the Circle/B button + L stick toward the ropes. Then Irish Whip the opponent again toward the cage wall.
Wrestlers can inflict more damage by performing slams and finishers on the hard flooring between the chamber fence and the ropes.
Attack Opponents On The Pod
Take the fight to the hard floor between the ropes and the cage. Grab with the Circle/B button. Press the L1/L/B to control the opponent and walk them toward the pod to place them on it and press strike or grapple actions to perform a move against the pod.
Dive From The Top Of The Pod
Wrestlers can perform diving attacks from the top of the pod using the following actions:
- Climb the Elimination Chamber fence near the pod with the L1/LB button.
- Press the L stick to move your wrestler toward the pod, and they’ll climb to the top.
- Press the X/A or the Square/X button to perform a dive attack from the top of the pod.
Grabbing An Opponent From The Top Of The Pod
You can also prevent your opponents from performing a diving attack and throw them from the top of the pod for significant damage. When the opponent climbs to the top of a pod, hold the L2/LT button to run to the same corner and grab them with the X/A button to throw them off.
Fight On The Chamber Wall
Press L1/LB near the fencing to climb it if an opponent is already climbing or get an opponent to follow your wrestler. The wrestlers can fight each other on the wall by pressing the strike buttons with X/A or Square/X.

- Have at least one stored finisher.
- Ensure the pod is empty.
- Irish Whip your opponent onto the hard floor.
- Press the L1/L/B to control the opponent, walk them toward the pod, and lean them against it.
- With the opponent leaning against the pod, press the X/A button to perform the spear through the pod wall.
- Your wrestler will slowly pull their opponent out of the broken pod and attempt a pin.
There is no finisher prompt for the spear through the pod, but it will take one stored finisher from the meter. Don’t press R2/RT+X/A, as it won’t trigger the special finisher.
