The Tales of Tanorio Best Starter may be subjective, but if you’re struggling to pick one, use this guide to help you make a decision!
Tales of Tanorio is a Roblox game based heavily on the Pokemon franchise. Each Tanorian has a unique design, with inspiring evolutions, and a range of different Types. Prefer Ghost Types? It has them! Or do you like Grass Types? Look in the bushes! With shiny hunting, community-based route buffs, and mounts, Tales of Tanorio is the place to be for Pokemon fans alike.

Tales of Tanorio Best Starter
With three starters to choose from and no experience in the game, it’s hard to know which one is the best! Overall, it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. In my opinion, you should pick the starter that you like the most, whether this is appearance-wise or Type-wise.
The Best Starter
After looking into each starter, their evolutions, and their abilities, I can say that Chewaqua is the best starter! Why, you ask? Well, aside from the fact that its a cute blue dog, its passive ability is the strongest among the 3. Chewaqua, and its Aquazol evolution, both use Bubble Bath. This is an ability that nullifies all Water Type moves used against them, making it incredibly powerful when going against Water Type Tanorians.
I also reckon that the final form of Chewaqua is one of the coolest in the game, so that may have swayed my opinion slightly. Jokes aside, Chewaqua’s final evolution is Jespirit, a Water Type and Ghost Type hybrid. Not only does it look great, with a design inspired by ghostly jesters, but it packs a punch in battle.
Positives of Choosing Rabush
While I came to the realisation that Chewaqua is the best starter, I indeed picked Rabush. Not for any reason in particular, but mainly because it’s a bunny. Plus, the Guardemis evolution for Rabush is absolutely stunning and turns into a Grass Type and Cosmic Type hybrid. I can safely say that Rabush is the second-best starter!
Positives Of Choosing Charcile
I’m not the biggest fan of Charcile, I will say. I don’t usually go for Fire Types but I do like the serpentine look that it has! The final form is Ignidall, which certainly has a presence. The serpent turns more into a dragon with large bird wings, which is pretty neat if you ask me. If you enjoy using Fire Types, and you like snakes, maybe Charcile is the one for you!
