Re: GUNTER: Trudeau’s virtue-signalling aid pledge not helpful to Ukraine, online, March 2
Article content
Lorne Gunter wrote that among the conditions our “esteemed” prime minister attached to aid was that Ukrainian demining squads be “gender inclusive” and that Ukraine “decarbonize” its economy.
One has to assume that our prime minister is aware that the Ukrainians are at war, but what he obviously doesn’t realize is that the above conditions, as well as others, are making him and Canada look stupid.
We need a new federal government yesterday.

CANADIAN ROT AT ITS PEAK
The rot of our Canadian culture has reached its peak. No more common sense. No more best qualified. No more care or consideration of the consequences of poor decisions. No more accountability for the wrongdoing of our leaders. Billions of dollars of our taxes are wasted away, and the national debt just grows more and more. Investment in industrial development and good jobs have been driven out by Justin Trudeau’s lack of knowledge of what it takes to build a country.

NOT IN THEIR BACKYARD
Politicians, bureaucrats, the health-care chiefs and pundits who are in favour of safe consumption sites and tent cities should have these venues installed next door to their abodes or on their front lawns; better yet, have them as tenants.
These poor forgotten souls need help, that is sure, but backing these centres and tents does not solve the problem, it only intensifies it.
The people suffering from the rising crime rates and drug use are the residents who do not have the power or influence to fight back.

NO BRIAN MULRONEY
Brian Mulroney was courageous, but Justin Trudeau is cowardly. Brian Mulroney was visionary, but Justin Trudeau is visionless. Brian Mulroney was inspirational, but Justin Trudeau is contemptuous.
