A brand new patch has dropped for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone – and it’s brought with it disaster for those who enjoyed the power of one of the game’s most popular sniper rifles.
As per the patch notes, the biggest casualty of the update is the MTZ Interceptor, which has had its Max Damage reduced to 85 from 95, and its Minimum Damage dropped to 78 from 84. It’s a change that certainly takes its edge off, though the change may be welcomed by many who were often taken down by the sheer damage output of this sniper rifle.
Elsewhere in Warzone, the patch doesn’t offer too much in the way of exciting changes – there’s a number of bug fixes, including fixes for players dropping duplicate Loadout Markers and an issue that caused the After Action Report to end abruptly. In Multiplayer and Zombies, meanwhile, a number of fixes include additional spawn points added to Afghan, lighting improvements in Invasion and a number of spawn improvements on other maps. You can check out the full patch notes for yourself down below.
