A skilled LEGO Fortnite user built a functioning helicopter within the game mode. LEGO Fortnite allows its players to create various objects and structures by using LEGO-style blocks, and this user channeled their creativity into an impressive creation.
LEGO Fortnite immediately became a hit when it was released in December, and it’s probably the most expansive crossover in Fortnite‘s history. Calling it a crossover might not even be the proper term, as LEGO Fortnite is basically its own game, offering players a new map to play on with unique game mechanics. Since its release, players have quickly harnessed LEGO Fortnite‘s resources to craft impressive creations, and this one is especially cool.
LEGO Fortnite Trick Helps You Get a Lot of Berries Fast
An ingenious LEGO Fortnite player shares their trick to collect plenty of berries without having to wait for the crops to grow.
Reddit user mosqueromg posted a video to the LEGO Fortnite subreddit that shows their newest gadget, a functioning helicopter. The video shows mosqueromg navigating into the helicopter and turning a couple of levers before the helicopter begins to fly forward. It seems that the vehicle is going to need some upgrades before it earns the title of “fully functioning,” as it doesn’t appear that the helicopter has a working cockpit. Instead, the helicopter can simply be activated before it’s turned loose. Although it’s not a fully controllable helicopter, it’s still a highly impressive creation that probably took lots of work and problem-solving.
Many commenters were impressed at Mosqueromg’s unique creation, with some hoping that future LEGO Fortnite updates will make buildable vehicles a more realistic pursuit. In the game’s current state, semi-functioning vehicles like this one are still possible to create, but there are plenty of bugs that come along with them. This helicopter is just the latest invention in a long line of impressive fan-made creations within LEGO Fortnite. Thanks to the Minecraft-like tools given to LEGO Fortnite players, the game mode has become a goldmine for such things.
Recently, another LEGO Fortnite player built an incredibly detailed city, and the user could have made it even more impressive had they not reached the game mode’s build limit. The user did not use any premade blueprints and created the entire city from scratch, with some buildings even having explorable interiors. Although LEGO Fortnite is still captivating many LEGO fans, they have good reason to be excited about the future as well.
Following the massive success of LEGO Fortnite, some LEGO fans have speculated over what the future might hold for LEGO-themed video games. Over the years, LEGO has made it clear that it’s open to video game crossovers after allowing studios to make games like LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Batman, and more. Now that LEGO Fortnite has proved that LEGO still has a massive fanbase with young gamers, it might be more motivated than ever to create additional LEGO games. However, this is just speculation, and only time will tell if LEGO fans will continue to receive unique, new games.
