Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s second wave of DLC is here with The Indigo Disk, which means it’s time for another round of version exclusives. As you might expect, past Paradox Pokemon – including the newly-introduced ones – are exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet. At the same time, the future Paradox Pokemon are still exclusive to Pokemon Violet. This time around, there are only a handful of other exclusives. Surprisingly enough, to our knowledge the returning Legendary Pokemon that have been added to the game are not exclusive to either version.
Indigo Disk version exclusives
Compared to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s base game, there aren’t nearly as many version exclusives in the Indigo Disk. As a reminder, you do unfortunately need to purchase separate DLC packs for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. In other words, you can’t buy one game’s DLC and use it on the other – you have to buy both. Keep that in mind when choosing which version to play.
Here’s the full list of Indigo Disk version exclusives. If we find any additional exclusives, we’ll be sure to update this post right away.
- Alolan Vulpix is exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet, while Alolan Sandshrew is exclusive to Pokemon Violet.
- Cranidos is exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet, while Shieldon is exclusive to Pokemon Violet.
- Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt, the past Paradox forms of Entei and Raikou, are only available in Pokemon Scarlet. Iron Crown and Iron Boulder, the future Paradox forms of Cobalion and Terrakion, are only available in Pokemon Violet.
That should be just about it for the Indigo Disk version exclusives, then. If you’re just getting into Scarlet and Violet and want to see the kinds of exclusives the base game offers, check out our guide from a while back via this link. We’ve also written up a few guides for the Teal Mask DLC, including where to find Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti.
