This Spirittea Cooking Minigame guide will teach you how and why you should get involved with this social minigame, as well as when it’s available and who is available to do it with.

In Spirittea, the cooking minigame is one of several social activities you can partake in to increase your social relationship with the other townspeople, such as the Karaoke minigame. In this specific instance, you can invite people to the town’s only restaurant to partake in some traditional barbeque.

You’ll need to get the hang of this if you want to max out your relationship scores with everyone in town.

How Does the Cooking Minigame Work?

It might look a little confusing, but it’s actually relatively simple. You’re trying to construct a delicious mouthful using a lettuce leaf. So firstly, you should select and interact with the two little piles on the bottom of your screen. These add rice/seasoning as the foundation for your bite.

Cooking your meat/toppings is the hard part. You first have to select the various toppings you want and place them on the grill.

Now select the grill and highlight the item you are currently cooking. If you interact with the object again it will flip over, but be warned: you can only flip each item once.

After a certain point, you sort of figure out the perfect timing for everything to be cooked exactly how you need it to be.

It takes some practice to get used to the perfect amount of time for cooking each item, but there’s no real way to tell beyond some guesswork.

Once you’ve flipped a piece, interacting with it again will send it to your lettuce leaf. Once all your cooked items are on the lead, add your final condiments and you’re done.

You will receive points, and an increase in your relationship, depending on how well you actually did at the game. The correct combo of ingredients and perfectly cooked toppings will net you more than burned meat and too much rice.
