NetherRealm Studios has released their Mortal Kombat 1 day one patch notes, and some of the most significant changes included with this update are the addition of more finishing moves, enhancements to the story finale and final boss, as well as the introduction of Season 1 content into the game.
Naturally, the inclusion of more finishers ahead of the Mortal Kombat 1 release date is an exciting prospect since these moves, in addition to the Mortal Kombat 1 fatalities, will allow you to show even less mercy to other players competitively. Unfortunately, the developers haven’t revealed exactly what these finishers are called or what they will look like, so you’ll just have to find out for yourself as you play the game.
Of course, these aren’t the only improvements arriving with these Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes, as NetherRealm Studios has also made “substantial revisions and polish on various encounters,” along with rebalancing boss fights and adding challenge towers to the gateway mesa. Surprisingly enough, the developers have also created a completely separate set of patch notes for the Switch version of the game, which contain fewer changes than its console counterpart.
If you’re playing on the Nintendo handheld console, the latest update should finally allow you to use complete tutorials, fatality practice, and practice mode. These patch notes have also enabled additional character/Kameo roster, additional arenas, customization, and the whole story campaign, so you’ll finally get the full gory experience.
