Free RPG Day 2024 is a few short days away. It is an annual event where various hobby stores give free TTRPG books and products. This is done partly to bring new people into the creative hobby and to promote new and upcoming TTRPG material. Here is a glimpse at what you can experience on that day.
The Free RPG Day 2024 product preview
According to the official website, Free RPG Day 2024 will be held on June 22. The page showcases the various products and one-shot adventures at participating hobby shops during the event. The supply will vary form store to store and availability is on a first come first serve basis.
For those looking for new dice, BCW will provide official Free RPG Day dice trays and dice bags. Those bags will be handy for carrying a D20 3-piece set by luxury dice company Dispel Dice, and a Legend of Drizzt dice set by Sirius Dice.
For those interested in becoming Gamemasters, Free RPG Day 2024 may hold some essential tools. Roll & Play Press will be giving samples of their book One-Shot Wonders, a book packed with simple adventures for D&D 5e. In addition, The Story Engine and Nord Games will give away RPG Accessory decks full of story and character prompts.
Naturally, Free RPG Day 2024 wouldn’t be complete without quickstart adventures. Small, bite-sized experiences meant to introduce players to different TTRPGs. Those adventures are as follows:
