Welcome back to Waifu Wednesday, Niche Gamer’s column where we talk about characters, their appeal, and a little on their history.
Today’s waifu is Fenrys from Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life (Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers). The series follows the young man Flio who’s summoned alongside dozens of other people to a fantasy world. However when it’s discovered he doesn’t any useful special abilities, he’s sent to the far edge of the kingdom.
What he didn’t expect is that once he hit level 2, he would unlock plenty of overpowered skills and abilities. But enough about the plot and the isekai protagonist, let’s move onto this week’s waifu Fenrys.
Fenrys is a demon wolf (Fenrir, get it?) with white hair who joins Flio after being defeated by him and declares that she’ll become his wife.
In the anime, she’s voiced by Rie Kugimiya who’s known for her past work as Kagura in Gintama, Louise in The Familiar of Zero, and Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist
