Pocketpair has revealed the 10 most popular Pals players can catch in Palworld, as decided by the game’s community. Palworld is an open world survival game that shares a lot in common with the Pokemon franchise. One of Palworld‘s core mechanics is catching monster-like creatures with Pal Spheres, and then putting the captured creatures to work either in battles, working at their base, or completing other tasks.

To date, Palworld has over 100 Pals for players to catch and add to their roster of creatures. Palworld Pals come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from cute pals like Lamball to huge dragons like Jetragon. Palworld players have had a couple of months to play the game and catch the available Pals for themselves, and so they now have a pretty good grasp on the Pals that they like the best, whether that’s due to their design or usability.

Open world survival game Palworld adds two more achievements to its achievement list, but fans can’t unlock them yet.

Pocketpair hosted a Valentine’s Day competition that helped determine the most popular Pals in Palworld, and it has now shared the results. According to Pocketpair’s data, the 10 most popular Pals in Palworld are, in order, Pengullet, Cattiva, Relaxaurus, Daedream, Lamball, Quivern, Anubis, Katress, Depresso, and Chillet. Many may have seen this coming, as Chillet is frequently featured in Palworld fan art, as is runner-up Depresso.

It will be interesting to see if the list of most popular Palworld Pals changes over the years, especially as new Pals and features are added to the open world survival game. New Pals stand the best shot at shaking up the rankings, with the first new Pal, the raid boss Bellanoir, already proving to be a fan favorite despite not even being in the game yet. However, the introduction of new Palworld features could also have an impact.

For example, Palworld is adding PvP at some point down the line. If certain Pals prove to be especially useful in Palworld PvP, it’s possible that they may climb up the rankings and become more popular with the community as a result. Needless to say, there’s a good chance that this list will look much different by the time the Palworld 1.0 release rolls around, whenever that may be.
